The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a young man in the "Dimitar Milenkov" district of Sofia.

During a specialized police operation conducted on June 4 by officers of the Search Sector, a 38-year-old man was found and detained in the capital. He has been declared wanted by a European arrest warrant, and a red bulletin has been issued by Interpol for his detention at the request of the authorities in Athens, Greece. 

Two people have been arrested over a bank robbery in Sofia, Emilia Rusinova, head of Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, told a press briefing at the Sofia Court House, Focus News Agency reported.

Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has set a measure for Kristian Boykov, requiring him to report in person every day to the authorities. He was accused of a computer crime, but was released from the detention facility, the Prosecutor's office said on July 18, reports BNT. 

A 41-year-old man was arrested, who had 15 years old boy in his car against his will, the Interior Ministry said.

In the late afternoon of Saturday at the SDRC, a signal was received that a 15-year-old boy had been put in a car against his will. Police officers immediately reacted to the alert, and after a quick operative-search action, they held the perpetrator.

Over 10 kilograms of drugs have been seized by specialists from the SDVR. Police officers detained a 50-year-old man in the course of a police operation on June 10th  to counter drug-related crimes, .

Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has accused five doctors of dental medicine and one of their helpers for documentary fraud, through which they have received unlawful amounts from the NHIF, the press center of the prosecution announced.
 

An employee of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) has been detained for a bribe demand of BGN 45,000. This was announced by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office Emilia Rusinova at a special briefing on the case, reports Mediapool. 

For the past three months, 20 wagon drivers have been sanctioned in Sofia. These are the results of the inspection ordered by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, Dnevnik reported.

The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Rosen Georgiev. He goes to court on charges that on June 28, 2017 in Sofia unlawfully kept a protected specie turtle.
