All Outgoing Bulgarian Ministers To Give Statements on Vaccines Scandal

All outgoing ministers in the government will give statements on Tuesday and Wednesday at the investigation department at the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office on the decision by default for the barter of vaccines between Bulgaria and Turkey, announced the spokesperson of the Prosecutor General Rumyana Arnaudova.

Bulgaria's Health Minister To Be Indicted Over Vaccines Scandal

Sofia City Prosecutor's Office is preparing an indictment against Health Minister Moskov in relation to the vaccines scandal which took place at the beginning of 2016.

Two of Moskov's deputies will also be indicted. Moscov has been summoned to appear before the prosecution next week.

The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has formally indicted two former state officials over their move to sign an unfavourable contract with Russian company Atomstroyexport in 2007.

Former Finance Minister Stoyan Alexandrov is being investigated for usury, announced the speaker of the Chief Prosecutor Rumyana Arnaudova on bTV.

The check started on September 8 and is being carried out by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. It is for the period 2002-2016 when Alexandrov was the director of a bank but in his capacity as a natural person.

Bulgarian Counter-Intelligence Official Goes to Court for Disclosing 'State Secret'

The head of the financial security department at Bulgaria's counter-intelligence agency DANS is to be put trial over the alleged disclosure of a state secret, the prosecution says.

According to the anti-corruption unit with the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, the Miroslav M. allegedly made public information from 11 classified documents that were tantamount to a state secret.
