Deputy Head of Svilengrad Customs Office Indicted
Bulgaria's Specialized Prosecutor's Office said Georgi Kostadinov, Deputy Director of Customs Office in the border town of Svilengrad, was indicted on Thursday.
Kostadinov is charged with the possession of significant quantities of drug substances with the purpose of supplying them as part of an organized criminal group, according to the Bulgarian private channel NOVA TV.

Deputy Head of Bulgaria's Svilengrad Customs Office Detained
Georgi Georgiev, Deputy Director of the Customs office in Bulgaria's southern town of Svilengrad has been arrested, Wednesday.
Georgiev was detained during a joint operation of the State Agency for National Security (DANS) and the Prosecutor's office, BGNES informs. According to unofficial reports, he was arrested for drug possession.

Bulgarian Authorities, Europol Chief Discuss Burgas Bus Bombing Probe
The Director of Europol, Rob Wainwright, has praised the work of the Bulgarian authorities on the investigation of the 2012 Burgas bus bombing.
The terror attack at the Sarafovo airport and the cooperation between Bulgaria and Europol were the main topics of the talks between Wainwright and the Bulgarian authorities, according to reports of news.bg.
Europol Director Arrives on Working Visit to Bulgaria
Robert (Rob) Wainwright, Director of Europol, the European law enforcement agency, is on a one-day working visit to Sofia, Friday.
Wainwright will meet with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Tsvetlin Yovchev, Vladimir Pisanchev, the head of the State Agency for National Security (DANS), and the Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov.
Gazprom Allegedly Suggested Amendments to Bulgarian Law
The most recent amendments to Bulgaria's Energy Act were allegedly suggested by the Russian state company Gazprom.

The prosecuting authority has pressed charges against the chief of cabinet of Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, Maria Divizieva.
She was handed the indictment on Thursday at the State Agency for National Security (DANS) HQ.
Divizieva's indictment is related to an investigation into the Administrative Capacity Operational Program.

Four Charges Against Head of Sofia Appellate Court
The Military District Prosecutor's Office has brought four charges against Veselin Pengezov, the chair of the Sofia Appellate Court.
All of them are of embezzlement, with three involving him as an accomplice and the fourth as having committed a military administrative abuse, according to StandartNews.
No detention of Pengezov has been ordered.

Bulgarian Customs Officers Bust Synthetic Drug Trafficking Channel
Bulgarian customs officers at the Danube Bridge border crossing point seized over a kilogram of synthetic drugs worth around BGN 37 000.
According to reports of the customs unit in Ruse, the joint operation with officers of the State Agency for National Security (DANS) and Border Police busted a synthetic drug trafficking channel from the Netherlands to Bulgaria.
