The State Is Considering Regulation for Electric Scooters

The State Agency for Road Safety proposes the introduction of regulation for electric scooters in the Road Traffic Act and the Road Vehicles Act, the Agency said.

This type of vehicle is increasingly spreading throughout the European Union, and Bulgaria is no exception. Several incidents with them show a strong need to develop mandatory minimum rules for their safe road traffic.

Head of Agency for Bulgarians Abroad was Removed from the Post

By a decision of the government, Petar Haralampiev was released from the post of chairperson of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, the government press office said on 5th of November. Haralampiev's position will be temporarily filled by the Deputy Chairperson of the Agency, Dimitar Vladimirov, until new Chair is appointment.
