Liturgy at Contested Serbian Church Prompts Protests in Kosovo
A group of Pristina University students protested on Friday in front of an unfinished church at their campus, one day after the Serbian Orthodox Church held a liturgy in a site, which has been a source of controversy since its construction began in the 1990s.
Macedonian Student Organisation Faces Referendum Challenge
The Students' Plenum movement, which is organising the referendum at Skopje's St Cyril and Methodius University on Wednesday, is proposing to transform the status of the Students' Parliament from an NGO to a formal university body in the hope of democratising it.
The Students' Parliament is the only officially accepted student organisation at the university.
