A new series of consultations with the President. The occasion - changes in the Constitution.

Rumen Radev will speak with representatives of the Supreme Bar Council. According to the president, there is a need for changes in the judicial system.

Sofia. Today, the Members of Parliament have voted to elect Krasimir Vlahov member of the Constitutional Court on Parliament's quota, Focus News Agency reports. The proposal was adopted with 127 votes in favour and 55 abstentions.

A meeting of leader Kornelia Ninova and the leadership of the BSP with the Supreme Bar Council is planned for today to discuss the anti-corruption law prepared by the left party, reported BGNES.

This is the second of a series of consultations that the party chairman has announced that she will hold. On 24 August she held a conversation with the Bulgarian Judges Association. 

Individual access to constitutional justice is being made available in Bulgaria at the moment, more than a year after constitutional amendments paved the way.

The Bulgarian parliament will discuss the amendments to the constitution concerning the reform of the judiciary at a second reading on Wednesday.

In order for the amendments to be adopted, ¾ of MPs or 180 lawmakers have to vote in favour.

At the first reading, which took place on September 23, 184 MPs voted in favour of the amendments.
