 The Coalition Democratic Bulgaria would hold talks with the second largest parliamentary represented party - "There are such a people" (ITN) led by Slavi Trifonov, about what kind of government could be nominated.

The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council Wednesday decided to send additional information to the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) about Bulgaria's candidates for European delegated prosecutors. The decision was prompted by a letter from European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kovesi requesting additional data on seven of the country's ten candidates.

The Prosecutors' College of the Supreme Judicial Council on Saturday elected ten European delegated prosecutors from Bulgaria. They will carry out investigations in Bulgaria on behalf of the new European Public Prosecutor's Office.

Today, after an anemic debate, the National Assembly has finally approved creating a new position in the judiciary - that of an ad-hoc prosecutor who will have power to investigate the prosecutor general.

The Parliament approved at first reading the appointment of a new figure of an investigative prosecutor who will investigate the Prosecutor General, with an appendix to the Criminal Procedure Code (NPC) submitted by Krasimir Tsipov of GERB. 100 MPs voted in favor, 46 were against (mainly of the Bulgarian Socialist Party) and 10 abstained, BTA reported.

The MPs of the ruling party GERB announced a new legislative initiative offering the creation of a new figure in the judicial system - a prosecutor investigating the Prosecutor General, reports  BGNES.

Bulgaria is among the 10 countries, out of all 47 members of the Council of Europe, to have implemented all anti-corruption recommendations, according to the latest report of the organization.

Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev on February 19 met with the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) Representative Boyan Magdalinchev and members of the board of the SJC Prosecutors' College, Daniela Masheva and Yordan Stoev.
