The first robotic operation in Bulgaria on a pancreatic tumor was performed by a team of Prof. Kiril Draganov, Head of the Clinic of Liver-Bile, Pancreatic and General Surgery at  City Clinic - Tokuda Hospital.

A total of 15,899 COVID-19 tests for have been performed in the laboratories in Bulgaria from the beginning of the outbreak until today. The first tests began in the National Reference Laboratory and the Military Medical Academy, after which laboratories were opened in Stara Zagora and Varna.

The Sofia Court of Appeals has ruled that Emiliya Kovacheva, a midwife who beat a 4-day-old baby, is to remain under arrest.

The measure has been imposed after her 72-hour detention period ended on Thursday.
