Turkey's Communications Directorate

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer discussed over phone bilateral ties and regional developments including the Russia-Ukraine war, Turkey's Communications Directorate said on April 10. 

The call addressed steps to enhance the Turkey-Austria relations, as well as regional issues, including the Russia-Ukraine war.

In a phone call, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Nov. 18 discussed regional developments with Mohamed Bazoum, his counterpart from the West African country of Niger.

During the call, Erdoğan said that he places great importance on relations with Niger, Turkey's Communications Directorate said in a statement.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will head to Italy and the U.K. to attend the G20 Leaders and COP26 climate summits, Turkey's Communications Directorate said ob Oct. 28.

The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) wants peace on the island to settle disputes with an agreement, the country's president said on Oct. 22 in Istanbul. 

Turkey's Communications Directorate is set to hold two exhibitions in New York next week.

In a statement on Sept. 18, the directorate said that the exhibitions named American Ottomans and The Legends of Hagia Sophia will open doors for art lovers on Sept. 19.

The presidents of Turkey and Uzbekistan discussed regional issues and bilateral ties on Sept. 1, according to an official statement.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin over the phone, Turkey's Communications Directorate said on July 31.

Erdogan thanked Putin for Russia's allocation of five firefighting aircraft and three more helicopters for supporting Turkey's fight against forest fires across the country, according to a statement.
