Turkish, Venezuelan leaders discuss ways to boost ties

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke over the phone with his Venezuelan counterpart to discuss steps to boost bilateral ties, Turkey's Communications Directorate said on Aug. 14. 

Erdoğan and Nicolas Maduro also discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and solidarity, as well as regional developments, according to the directorate.

Erdoğan, Trump discuss Libya developments in phone call

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump discussed developments in Libya in a phone call on June 8, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.

The directorate said in a statement that the leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations and regional developments, including the Libyan crisis.

Erdoğan exchanges Eid wishes with counterparts

Turkey's president on May 24 exchanged greetings with his counterparts from Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Iran, Oman and Turkmenistan for Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday following the holy month of Ramadan.

Turkish, US presidents stress cooperation against virus

In a phone call on May 23, the presidents of Turkey and the U.S. stressed bilateral cooperation in the fight against coronavirus.

Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump also discussed bilateral relations and regional developments, especially in Syria and Libya, according to a statement by Turkey's Communications Directorate.
