Turkish hospital in Lebanon to open soon

Turkey continues its efforts to support the Lebanese people after the last week's blast at the Beirut Port.   

Saida Turkish Hospital, built by Turkey nearly 10 years ago but did not start its services due to some issues caused by the Lebanese government, is planned to be opened upon the instructions of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 

Turkey delivers medical aid to Bangladesh

Turkey's state-run aid agency on June 7 delivered medical supplies to Bangladesh in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

"TİKA [Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency] provided one thousand N95 masks, one thousand PPE suits, two ventilators and five thousand medical masks to support Bangladesh in fighting COVID-19," the Turkish Embassy in Dhaka said in a statement.

Palestine thanks Turkey for medical aid

Medical aid from Turkey came at a time when the government needed it the most, Palestinian Authority's deputy foreign minister said April 30.

"This help meets the needs of Palestine in a critical period when the Palestinian budget is inadequate and the economy is negatively affected by the coronavirus outbreak," Ahmad ed-Dijk told Anadolu Agency.

Turkey sends food aid to Uganda amid coronavirus

Turkey's state-run aid agency on April 27 sent food aid to Uganda to help the East African country amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) sent 1,000 food packages, including flour, beans and sugar, to Uganda, whose economy has been hard hit by the outbreak, according to a statement by TIKA.

Turkey sends aid to Palestine to fight coronavirus

Turkey's state-run aid agency on April 24 sent medical aid to Palestine amid the fight against novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) delivered medical and personal care packages to Palestinian health officials at a ceremony held at the Health Ministry building in Ramallah.
