Over 200 PKK suspects caught in large-scale op

More than 200 PKK suspects were apprehended in simultaneous operations against the terrorist organization in 32 out of the country's 81 provinces, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced.

In the "Heroes-36" operation, the security forces raided the addresses of suspects identified with several terrorist activities, particularly in Istanbul and the capital Ankara.

İnönü remembered on 50th anniversary of his passing

In a commemorative ceremony in the capital Ankara yesterday, attendees gathered to pay tribute to İsmet İnönü, one of the esteemed founders of the Turkish Republic and its second president, on the 50th anniversary of his passing.

The commemorative event took place at Anıtkabir, the grounds also housing the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Turkish warplanes strike PKK targets in Iraq's north

Turkish forces carried out a targeted airstrike against 15 PKK locations in northern Iraq, Türkiye's Defense Ministry has confirmed.

The operation, conducted late on Nov. 4, focused on the Hakurk region and resulted in the destruction of numerous targets, including caves, shelters and warehouses used by senior PKK members, according to the ministry's announcement.

Three PKK/YPG terrorists 'neutralized' in Syria's north

The Defense Ministry has announced the neutralization of three PKK/YPG terrorists who were reportedly preparing to launch an attack in the Euphrates Shield Operation region situated in northern Syria.

"We do not leave the terrorist attempts to attack unanswered," the ministry declared in a statement on Aug. 21.
