Turkey Breached Gulen-Affiliated Journalist’s Rights: Strasbourg Court

The European Court of Human Rights, ECHR in Strasbourg ruled on Tuesday that Turkey violated the rights of Hidayet Karaca, who was an executive at a major media group executive affiliated with exiled cleric Fethullah Gulen, for unfairly keeping him in detention for too long before his trial.

Turkey withdraws migrants from Evros land border

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Turkish authorities on Friday evacuated hundreds of migrants from Turkey's land border with Greece. 

The migrants were among an estimated 10,000 that had gathered at the border hoping to cross into Greece and Europe after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government had said last month it would not prevent them from leaving.
