The Turkish Trade Ministry has refuted allegations circulating in certain media outlets and on social media regarding the continuation of exports to Israel despite the newly imposed embargo.

Türkiye will not stop supporting Palestine and sending humanitarian aid to the civilians stranded in Gaza, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said, vowing that trade restrictions imposed on Israel will remain in place until a ceasefire is reached and enough amount of humanitarian assistance is provided to civilians.

Russia and Türkiye are trying to remedy problems with bank transfers due to anti-Russian sanctions, TASS quoted Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying.

Türkiye and the U.K. have launched talks to update the free trade agreement, the Turkish Trade Ministry has said.

Trade Minister Ömer Bolat met with his U.K. counterpart, Kemi Badenoch, in London on March 14 to discuss bilateral issues, and they decided to begin new trade talks, the ministry said in a statement on social media platform X.

The shortage of olive oil production in Mediterranean countries has negatively affected domestic prices, prompting the Turkish Trade Ministry to introduce additional measures, including the suspension of olive oil exports until November, to prevent a price increase in the domestic market.

Turkish company Baykar has signed an agreement to provide its Bayraktar AKINCI unmanned combat aerial vehicles to Saudi Arabia, which Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar has called "the biggest defense and aviation export contract in the history of the Turkish Republic."

The agreement was inked during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Saudi Arabia.

Türkiye's automotive industry aim to boost their sales to the large Brazilian market in parallel with increasing trade between the two countries, said Orhan Sabuncu, vice chair of the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB).

Over the next few years, trade between Turkey and Nigeria will rise "dramatically" from its current level of $2 billion, according to Nigeria's top trade official.
