EBRD provides 500 mln euros for quake-hit regions
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a 500-million-euro financing to support the regions affected by last year's devastating earthquakes.
The agreement regarding the new financing was signed between the Treasury and Finance Ministry and the development bank.

Şimşek dismisses claims about intervention in FX rates
Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek has dismissed claims that the Central Bank intervened in foreign exchange rates by selling its reserves.
The Treasury and the Central Bank are working to make Turkish Lira instruments more attractive, Şimşek wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Facebook owner Meta to launch Twitter-like 'Threads' app
Facebook owner Meta's new Threads app, meant to compete with Twitter, was available for pre-order on mobile app stores on iPhone and Android operating systems on July 3.

Spotify, in a statement on Jan. 26, said that it regretted Young's decision, "but hope to welcome him back soon."
Turkish Airlines temporarily suspends Israel flights
Flag carrier Turkish Airlines has temporarily suspended all flights to Israel, the airline announced on Jan. 25.
Under the suspension, there are no Turkish Airlines flights to or from Israel for the period Jan. 26 to Jan. 31, said the company on Twitter.
