World Bank downgrades Serbia's GDP growth to 3 pct
The June 2017 report had put the figure at 3.5 percent.
The World Bank now says that in 2019 and 2020, Serbia will have GDP growth rates of 3.5 and 4 percent.
Serbia's economy grew by two percent in 2017, according to the financial institution's estimate in the January 2018 report.

Biggest cocaine haul in years on northern border
According to the MUP the drugs were found on the northern Horgos border crossing between Serbia and Hungary, and an investigation into the case is ongoing.
The daily Blic reported earlier in the day that this was one of the biggest cocaine hauls in Serbia in several years, while the street value of the confiscated narcotics stands at "at least one million euros."

81 percent of Serbians like Putin, Gallup poll reveals
This is according to Gallup International Association's "Global Leaders End of Year" survey.
Respondents - 53,769 persons from 55 countries - were asked to rank 12 global leaders.

In today’s elections in Great Britain there are 2716 candidates that will claim 533 seats in the UK Parliament and 650 in the House of Commons.
Of all the candidates, 1931 are men and 785 are women.
In the general elections in 2015, there were 3,209 candidates, or 493 more than they are today.
