Lazarevic indicted for disclosing secrets to Saric's group

BELGRADE - The Serbian Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime on Monday indicted Branko Lazarevic, former head of the interior minister's office, and three other men for disclosing police information on tracking and wiretapping of the group led by Darko Saric, charged with cocaine trafficking and money laundering.

Justice minister warns AKS against violation of Constitution

BELGRADE - Serbian Justice Minister Nikola selakovic called on the Bar Association of Serbia (AKS) to invalidate the Ordinance according to which lawyers are obliged to go on strike on the threat of disciplinary sanctions and bar chamber exclusion, because the documents constitutes violation of the Serbian Constitution and a number of other laws.

Parents detained after trying to take child after losing custody

A 25-year-old man and his 22-year-old wife were being questioned by police in the western port of Patra on Tuesday after they allegedly unlawfully removed their infant from a pediatric clinic in the city’s university hospital on Monday despite having been deprived of custody in a recent court ruling.
