Slovenia requests UN Human Rights Council session on Ethiopia

Geneva – Slovenia, in its capacity as the presiding country of the Council of the EU, requested a special session of the UN Human Rights Council on the situation in Ethiopia on Monday. More than 50 countries supported the call, Slovenia’s Permanent Mission to the UN Office in Geneva announced on Twitter.

Vucic to open the Assembly of Inter-Parliamentary Union tomorrow

The assembly will be held at the Center Sava in Belgrade, the president's office said.
The assembly starts at 7.30pm.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will also attend the opening ceremony.
The Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, hosted by the Republic of Serbia and the National Assembly of Serbia, is being held from 13 to 17 October in Belgrade.

President Klaus Iohannis has signed on Friday ten accreditation decrees of several Romania's ambassadors, among whom Adrian Cioroianu, Emil Hurezeanu, Ion Jinga and Bogdan Mazuru.

President signs major reshuffle of ambassadors

President Klaus Iohannis signed this week several ambassador appointments, giving his seal of approval to journalist and writer Emil Hurezeanu's nomination as Ambassador of Romania to Germany, and to historian, essayist and politician Adrian Cioroianu taking over as Romania's Ambassador and Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, the Presidential Administration announced.
