Deputy PM Kelemen: Gov't committed to securing, seeking funds for all development projects

Deputy Prime Minister Kelemen Hunor national leader of the Hungarian Democratic of Union of Romania (UDMR) told the inauguration on Friday of an Olympic swimming pool in Targu Mures that the Government is committed to providing and seeking financial resources for all development projects.

The 'Dom Polski' Union of Romania's Poles was founded on March 16, 1990 at the initiative of a group of Poles in Bucharest, informs the dompolski.ro website. The Union was registered at the court under the Suceava Court ruling of August 30, 1991 on the file 6079/1991, shows the volume "Political parties" (put out by the National News Agency in 1993).

On February 5, 1990, then Minister of Culture Andrei Plesu reopened the the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, naming painter Horia Bernea its director. One of the greatest contemporary Romanian painters, whose exhibitions in the country and abroad have remained as permanent reference points in the field, Bernea was born in Bucharest, on September 14, 1938.

'Afghanistan - faces of war' photo exhibition of RRA war correspondent

An exhibition that will bring together some of the best photographs taken in Afghanistan by journalist Ilie Pintea, a Hunedoara County correspondent of the Radio Romania News (RRA) public broadcaster, opens this afternoon at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Bucharest, under the aegis of the Union of Romania's Professional Journalists.
