At least 38 people were killed in Myanmar on Wednesday in what the UN described as the "bloodiest day" since the coup took place a month ago.

UN envoy to Myanmar Christine Schraner Burgener said there was shocking footage coming out of the country.

Witnesses said security forces opened fire with rubber and live bullets.

Marking the 13th anniversary of Kosovo's proclamation of independence, at a ceremony organised at the compound of the Kosovo Security Force KSF, the country's Acting President, Vjosa Osmani, recalled the past struggle for independence and the future goal of "integration into the community of European nations".

"This is a key step forward in meeting our financial obligations as a member of the WHO and reflects our renewed commitment to providing the necessary WHO support to guide the global pandemic response," Blinken said at the United Nations Security Council.

The parliament adopted a law early Dec. 7, banning commercial activities of organizations and individuals facing sanctions by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Accordingly, collecting or providing funds to such individuals and organizations also stands banned in Turkey.

India and the United Kingdom on Friday held bilateral consultations virtually regarding United Nations Security Council (UNSC) issues, wherein both sides held discussions on a wide range of issues on the UNSC agenda.

The United Nations Security Council overwhelmingly rejected a U.S. resolution to extend an Iranian arms embargo on Aug. 14, in a move with huge repercussions for the Iran nuclear deal.

Only two of the Council's 15 members voted in favor, highlighting the division between Washington and its European allies since President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear accord in May 2018.

Turkey has decided to freeze the assets of the Libyan Investment Authority and the Libyan Africa Investment Portfolio in line with a decision by the United Nations Security Council.

Botsan-Kharchenko added that interpretations of his statement appeared in part of the public, which "caused deep doubts".
He added that Russia will only agree to a solution acceptable to Serbia.
