BELGRADE - The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a session on Tuesday to discuss the latest report by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, and the session will be addressed by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

Norway among biggest donors to flood-stricken Serbia

BELGRADE -- Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić has thanked the Kingdom of Norway for being one of the largest donors that are helping with the flood relief effort.

He at the same time welcomed the decision of the Scandinavian country to fund 35 projects for the media and civil society.

BELGRADE - Presidential Advisor Marko Djuric has said on Wednesday, referring to the floods that hit Serbia, that President Tomislav Nikolic will continue talks with representatives of the international community, noting that the real challenges will arise after water retreats.

BELGRADE - The UN will assist reconstruction efforts in Serbia once the water recedes from the flood-hit areas and appeal for donor aid after the situation has been analysed, the UN Resident Coordinator in Serbia Irena Vojackova-Solorano said on Tuesday.
