Student Anger Over Higher Tuition Fees Rocks Albania
Several hundred students blocked the entrances of the Ministry of Education in Albania's capital on Thursday in the third day of protests against rises in fees and economic difficulties.
The protests have brought Albanian universities to a standstill while the government struggles to deal with their demands.
Albania Opposition Stages New anti-Rama Protest
Opposition parties in Albania have vowed to continue with their campaign of street demonstrations until the centre-left Prime Minister, Edi Rama, steps down.
The opposition, led by the centre-right Democratic Party, will lead a new protest on Thursday in front of parliament as MPs adopt a budget for 2016.

Albanian Students Protest Over Education Law
Hundreds of students from different faculties of Tirana University accompanied by some of their lecturers on Wednesday staged a street protest against the new law on higher education.
The protest was organized by the "For the University Movement" activists, which attracted attention after they threw eggs at the Prime Minister's car one week ago.

Albania MPs Back Controversial Education Law
Albania's parliament adopted controversial government-sponsored higher educational reforms at 2.30am on Wednesday after nine hours of debate. The law was approved by 78 votes out of 140.
Outside parliament, protesters, professors and civil rights activists protested against the law that they call an attack on public universities.
