The US Embassy in Athens and its Consular Section, the US Consulate General in Thessaloniki, and all US Government offices in Greece will be closed on Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.
This holiday marks the birthdays of US presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Man killed in accident at US Embassy worksite
A worker has been reported killed at a construction site in the US Embassy in Athens, after being crushed by a wall on Wednesday morning.
According to TV broadcaster Skai, the man was rushed to the capital's Evangelismos Hospital where his death was confirmed.
The circumstances that led to the accident are being investigated.
