Since August 22, the government has reported two series of cyber-attacks on government servers, claiming they managed to prevent any damage.

The Chinese loan for the first phase of Bar-Boljare highway has imposed a heavy burden on Montenegro's public finances.

Minister of Finance and Social Care Milojko Spajic said an arrangement was made with two unnamed US banks and one from France, converting the loan from US dollars to euros.

The US embassy in Montenegro has paid tribute to an elite team of American cyber experts working in the Balkan country for a second year to generate fresh insights into adversarial cyber threats as elections loom in both the US and Montenegro in 2020.

Amid continuing fears about cyber threats to democracy, the US is deploying so-called "cyber warriors" to a number of friendly countries in Eastern Europe include Ukraine, Montenegro and North Macedonia, to help them resist attacks.

The broadcaster on Thursday said it was taking Vijesti to court because the latter's director, Zeljko Ivanovic, had made false, derogatory statements, which had damaged Prva TV's reputation and business.
