Hahn Brokers Deal Ending Crisis in Macedonia
The EU Enlargement Commissioner has announced that a deal has been reached between Macedonia's warring political parties.
The breakthrough was announced after midnight on Wednesday, following protracted negotiations with the government and opposition in Skopje.
"Agreement reached by political leaders in the interest of the country and its citizens," Johannes Hahn tweeted.

Hahn on Mission to Rescue Macedonia Crisis Talks
Commissioner Hahn is expected to arrive on a rescue mission in Macedonia early next week, his office announced.
The visit comes after opposition leader Zoran Zaev on Wednesday said that crisis talks with the government had failed and that the brokered snap election deal was dead in the water.

Macedonia's Head Spy Hunter Calls Lustration 'Success'
Tome Adziev, the head of Macedonia's Lustration Commission, the state office for rooting out former secret police collaborators, told BIRN that he rejected a recent European Commission report that pinpointed "serious shortcomings" in the process.
"It is based on insufficient data," Adziev said.
