BELGRADE - Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who is said to be one of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's leading candidates to become secretary of state, has had past dealings with foreign leaders and groups from Serbia to Russia and Iran that could draw scrutiny if he is nominated, RFE/RL reports.

The White House has released a video of outgoing President Barack Obama's visit to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum on Wednesday, on its Twitter account.

In the video, President Obama is seen being given a private tour of the Acropolis by Dr Eleni Banou and the Acropolis Museum by its director, Dr Dimitrios Pantermalis.

According to former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis in an interview on BBC Radio, the Greek side received no help from the Americans during the Syriza administration’s negotiations, either with the IMF, Brussels, Berlin or Frankfurt when support was needed most.
