Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday said he hoped Greece would become an exporter of green energy "in the medium-term" at a round table discussion on the topic 'European Green Deal, Anyone?' at the World Economic Forum in Davos. 

Addressing the World Economic Forum in Davos, "We Continue the Change" Co-chairman Kiril Petkov emphasized the potential for Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece to achieve the highest GDP growth in Europe through collaborative infrastructure development.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will participate in two events at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Thursday and Friday.

The WEF's theme this year is "Rebuilding Trust" in a rapidly changing world at three levels, "into the future, within societies and among nations".

The huge gap between how women and men's health are treated costs $1 trillion a year worldwide, the World Economic Forum (WEF) said yesterday.

European Central Bank (ECB) Governor Christine Lagarde suggested on Wednesday that the ECB might implement interest rate cuts in the summer. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Lagarde noted that sufficient data on wage growth would be available by "late spring," enabling central bankers to determine whether eurozone inflation is set to rise or fall.

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is attending the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, where he will until January 19 have a series of bilateral meetings with international and European officials and numerous representatives of international organisations, financial institutions and leading global companies.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to travel to Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday afternoon to participate in the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.

In a statement made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov emphasized that the current Bulgarian Cabinet must resign by March 6 at the latest. The move is a crucial step to facilitate the government rotation, with Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel set to assume office promptly.
