'Turkish House' in Davos aims to increase investment opportunities

A "Turkish House" has been set up at the venue of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland in a bid to promote investment opportunities in Turkey.

It was launched under the guidance of the Treasury and Finance Ministry in coordination with the Banks Association of Turkey.

Turkish foreign minister meets Iraqi Kurd leader

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Tuesday met Nechirvan Barzani, president of Iraq's Kurdish Regional Government (KRG).

The closed-door meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland where the two leaders discussed heightened tensions between the U.S. and Iran, according to diplomatic sources.

Mitsotakis heading to Davos on Wednesday after vote on new president

Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis will depart for Switzerland on Wednesday evening to attend the 2020 World Economic Forum at Davos-Klosters, his office said Tuesday.

On Wednesday morning, he will attend the plenary session vote for the election of Greece's new president at 10.30 a.m., then at noon he will meet with the Labor Ministry's leadership at his Maximos Mansion office.

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov is leaving for Switzerland to participate in the 50th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, said the government press office. This year meeting's theme would be Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World.
