Mitsotakis has series of meetings at Davos

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a series of constructive meetings with senior business figures on Thursday, while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Among others, Mitsotakis met with Coursera CEO Jeff Maggioncalda, with whom he discussed the importance of training and re-education as the march of technology is changing the labor market.

"A possible military loss suffered by a nuclear power could trigger a nuclear conflict," said Dmitry Medvedev.

"Nuclear forces do not suffer losses in major conflicts on which their fate depends on - this should be obvious to every Western politician," Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev wrote on Telegram today, quoted by TASS.

PM to hold presser on the economy on Monday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will hold a live press conference on Monday on the "economy, growth and the labor market," spokesperson Yiannis Economou announced on Thursday.

The press briefing will start at 12.30 p.m.

Mitsotakis is in Davos, Switzerland, to take part, on Thursday and Friday, in the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Vucic, Emie discuss cooperation, situation in Kosovo-Metohija

DAVOS - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Thursday in Davos with Bernard Emie, head of the Directorate-General for External Security at the French defence ministry.

In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram profile, Vucic wrote that the discussion with Emie, which took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, had been substantial and useful.

Ukraine investigates helicopter crash that killed interior minister

Ukrainian authorities on Thursday were investigating the circumstances surrounding a helicopter crash that killed the country's interior minister and 13 others.

Wednesday's crash outside Kiev came as the head of NATO said at the annual World Economic Forum in Davos that allies were set to provide "heavier weapons" to the war-battered country.
