As a G20 economy and a vital geopolitical actor in the region, Turkey can show leadership in boosting the benefits of a digital revolution, said the founder of the World Economic Forum on Jan. 27. 

The European Commission has announced that it is launching a European biosecurity program to combat pandemics and other potential biological threats. This was stated by EC President Ursula von der Leyen.

She spoke online at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reckoned on Monday that Greece could return to "some normalcy" at the end of spring or the beginning of summer if the vaccination program remains on track.

Speaking during the online session of the World Economic Forum, Mitsotakis said the supply of vaccines from the European Union will be pivotal, noting that it must be expedited.
