Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) Mihai Daraban attended a meeting in Paris on Wednesday of the General Council of the World Chambers Federation (WCF) of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
Romania successfully completed last week its first tenure as holder of the six-month rotating presidency of the EU Council, and now it can breathe a sigh of relief, Foreign Minister Teodor Melescanu said on Monday.

"A strong transatlantic cooperation has always been and will remain an essential prerequisite for our economies' and our citizens' prosperity.
The Trade Ministers of the EU gather in Bucharest between 21 and 22 February, at the informal meeting that will be chaired by Business Environment, Trade and Entrepreneurship Minister Stefan-Radu Oprea, in the context of Romania's Presidency at the EU Council.
