Western firms still in Russia weigh pros and cons of leaving

Should they stay or should they go now? Eighteen months after the start of the war in Ukraine, many Western companies in Russia are still assessing the pros and cons.

According to a count by the Yale University, around a hundred companies from the G7 nations are still operating in Russia, but the numbers appear to be dropping.

Pill halves risk of death in type of lung cancer

A pill has been shown to halve the risk of death from a certain type of lung cancer when taken daily after surgery to remove the tumor, according to clinical trial results presented on June 4.

The results were unveiled in Chicago at the largest annual conference of cancer specialists, hosted by the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Sakellaropoulos olive oil to be used in US experiment

Greece's Sakellaropoulos Organic Farms will be the exclusive suppliers of olive oil to a new preparatory project titled "Oleocanthal Plus Cardio" in patients of the Artemis Wellness Center in the US city of Milford in Connecticut.

The data of the research project will be analyzed by the School of Public Health at Yale University.

Slovenia 7th globally in environmental performance

Ljubljana – Slovenia ranks seventh out of 180 countries in the Environmental Performance Index (EPI), which is calculated by Yale University to assess the state of sustainable environmental care.

Denmark tops the rankings with a score of 77.9, followed by the UK with 77.7 and Finland with 76.5. Malta scored 75.2 points, Sweden 72.7 and Luxembourg 72.3.
