Generals who fought in Kosovo to teach at Military Academy
Generals and senior officers of the Yugoslav Army (VJ) who held command positions during the 1998-99 war in Kosovo will teach at Belgrade's Military Academy.
Beta is reporting this on Wednesday, citing an article published in the daily Vecernje Novosti.

Croatia Marks 26 Years of Break from Yugoslavia

On October 8, Croatia marks the day in 1991 when the republic's parliament held a session in secrecy that severed all ties with Yugoslavia.
The assembly thus confirmed the parliament's earlier Declaration of Independence from Yugoslavia, passed on June 25, 1991.

Maribor vehicles factory celebrating 70th anniversary
The factory, whose demise seriously hurt the region around Maribor, has seen a revival in recent years, mostly owing to Chinese-owned bus maker TAM Europe.
The beginnings of TAM date back to 1942, when the Germans used the location on the outskirts of Slovenia's second largest city for the production of aircraft parts for the Luftwaffe.

Battle of Kosare heroes honored with memorial

A memorial bust has been unveiled on Wednesday of Tibor Cerna, one of the 108 Yugoslav Army (VS) soldiers who died during the Battle of Kosare.
The memorial is located in Debeljaca, a village in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina, and was unveiled by Cerna's mother Kata and President Aleksandar Vucic.
