The Association of Journalists of Kosovo, AJK, said in a press release that it was concerned by news that police on Thursday detained a team a reporters from the state broadcaster RTK in Zubin Potok in the Serb-run north of the country while they were shooting.

"EULEX indirectly hindering agreement"

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA -- Self-government representatives from northern Kosovo have said that EU mission EULEX is "indirectly hindering the implementation of the Brussels agreement."

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Local self-government representatives from northern Kosovo, which is home to Serb majority population, stated during a joint meeting in Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday that EULEX is indirectly hindering the implementation of the Brussels agreement.

PRISTINA - Head of the EULEX Mission in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Bernd Borchardt has said that there are no secret indictments in KiM, as the mechanism of secret indictments does not exist in the Kosovo legal system, adding that a democratic society has two basic principles - presumption of innocence and equality before the law.

EULEX chief again denies "secret indictments"

BELGRADE -- Head of the EULEX Mission in Kosovo Bernd Borchardt has said that there are "no secret indictments in Kosovo."

BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic condemned on Thursday the forcible freeing of Serb Slobodan Sovrlic from the police station in Zubin Potok, northern Kosovo, stressing that there must be order.

"There must be order and therefore such events are not good and must be met with condemnation," Dacic told reporters.
