Turkey ‘neutralized’ 1,162 terrorists in 2021: Defense Ministry

Turkish forces have neutralized 1,162 terrorists in operations within the country and outside its borders this year, the National Defense Ministry said on May 30. 

The terrorists were neutralized in 181 large- and medium-scale operations, ministry spokeswoman Maj. Pınar Kara told a news briefing.

Turkish gov't reveals new measures aimed at fueling economic activity

Ankara has announced a number of new measures on credit cards and loans in an attempt to ease the strain on consumers and stimulate economic activity. 

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said late on Sept. 21 that credit card payment installment limits had been increased from nine to 12, while restrictions on food, telecommunications and fuel purchases would continue.
