A ministerial-level summit on the future of Syria that has started on Oct. 29, less than a week after an initial four-way meeting, will bring together a wider range of countries, including ones with whom Turkey is at diplomatic loggerheads, as well as Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his deputies will attend Syria peace talks in Vienna on Oct. 30, the semi- official ISNA news agency reported. 

"Deputy Foreign Ministers Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht Ravanchi will accompany Zarif on this trip," foreign ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham was quoted as saying by ISNA. 

Global powers were due to gather with Iran March 30, seeking to slot into place the last pieces of a complex puzzle to curtail Tehran's nuclear programme as diplomats said tentative agreement on some parts had been reached.
