Heirs awarded Nazi-looted art are still waiting, 17 years later

In a museum storage depot in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, a 17th-century painting by a Dutch old master is packed away, unseen and unappreciated. Once the property of an elderly British Jewish couple living in France, it was seized by Nazi collaborators during World War II and sold to Hermann Göring, Adolf Hitler's second-in-command.

The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has taken a necessary step by self-reporting in response to disturbing reports from Bulgaria's Jewish organization "Shalom" and the Central Israeli Spiritual Council. The organizations alerted authorities to obituaries of Adolf Hitler discovered affixed to the entrance of the Sofia Synagogue.

Gov't adopts conclusion on agreement to purchase of Hitler's directive that ordered attack on Yugoslavia

BELGRADE - The Government of Serbia on Thursday adopted a Conclusion on its agreement to the recent purchase of Adolf Hitler's Directive No. 25 of March 27, 1941, whereby the then-German chancellor ordered the attack on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the Kingdom of Greece.

The directive, signed by Hitler, consists of 13 originals.
