Map of plots to ease investments
The government announced on Monday the creation of a digital land map, a broad online platform that will make a record of every plot of land, what terms and restrictions apply to its construction, the land usage and whether it is inside a protected area, an archaeological sites, a forest or a seaside spot.

Greece to launch tourist investment project Elliniko this year
Greece's government plans to speed up the regulatory process so that a long-delayed tourist investment project at a disused Athens airport can be launched by the end of the year, Development Minister Adonis Georgiadis said on Monday.
Georgiadis discusses pending US investments with ambassador
Greece's Development and Investments Minister Adonis Georgiadis discussed about American investments in the country which remain pending in a meeting Friday with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt.
The ambassador noted that there are "important opportunities" to develop trade relations in investments such as the massive development project in Elliniko and the Elefsina shipyards.

Christos Staikouras, a former alternate economy minister under ND PM Antonis Samaras, will be Greece's new finance minister in the cabinet of incoming PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, which was announced late this afternoon, less than 24 hours afte Mitsotakis' landslide victory, and veteran connservative MP Nilos Dendias will be Greece's new foreign minister.

Mitsotakis appoints his cabinet
New center-right Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis appointed his cabinet on Monday afternoon, entrusting most of the key posts to trusted aides.
Panagiotis Pikrammenos, formerly the president of the Council of State who briefly served as caretaker prime minister at the peak of Greece's economic crisis in 2012, was appointed deputy prime minister.

New Democracy VP Georgiadis: SYRIZA communists sold out Greece
The war of words between SYRIZA and New Democracy Vice-President Adonis Georgiadis is heating up with the MP branding the ruling party as communist who have brought disaster to the country.
