Holocaust Museum in Thessaloniki gets approval
The urban planning authority of Thessaloniki in northern Greece announced Wednesday that permission for the construction of a Holocaust museum in the city has been granted, and that construction will begin early next year.

Building permit for Thessaloniki Holocaust Museum finally issued
Greece's Environment Ministry and Thessaloniki's municipal town planning authority issued on December 19 the building permit for the construction of the city's Holocaust Museum, with work expected to begin next year, the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki announced on Wednesday.
The project is slated for completion in 2026.

The EU's ombudsman today criticized the European Commission for failing to release text messages between its president, Ursula von der Leyen, and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, Reuters reported.

Pfizer CEO: Vaccine third dose 'likely' needed within 12 months
The head of Pfizer said in an interview aired on April 15 that people will "likely" need a third dose of his company's COVID-19 shot within six to 12 months of vaccination, while elsewhere defending the relatively higher cost of the jab.
CEO Albert Bourla also said annual vaccinations against the coronavirus may well be required.
BioNTech/Pfizer Vaccine Shows High Protection for Teens, Approval Expected
BioNTech-Pfizer said Wednesday their vaccine showed 100 percent efficacy against the coronavirus in 12 to 15 year olds, as they eye approval for adolescents to get the jabs before the next school year.
Phase 3 trials carried out on 2,260 adolescents in the United States "demonstrated 100 percent efficacy and robust antibody responses", the companies said in a statement.
