Kosovo Serbs Rally for Release of War Crimes Suspect
Dozens of locals gathered on Tuesday in the town of Gracanica, close to the capital Pristina in central Kosovo, in the latest of a series of demonstrations against last week's arrest of a Kosovo Serb man on war crime charges.
They held up banners and placards with slogans like "Freedom for all the arrested Serbs" and pledges of trust in Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Serbia Releases Three Seized Kosovo Policemen
The Higher Court in Kraljevo, Serbia, on Monday ordered the release of three Kosovo policemen who Serbia says it arrested on Serbian territory - and who Kosovo says were kidnapped inside Kosovo last week.
The court also said it confirmed the indictment against them for alleged illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials.

Kosovo Police announced on Friday that it arrested a Kosovo Serb, N.O., known as Nemac and/or Rus, suspected of participating in violent clashes between Serb protesters and the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, KFOR, on May 29, in the Serb-majority northern municipality of Zvecan.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovi, addresses the nation today at 4:00 p.m. regarding the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, "Novosti" has learned.

However, before the start of the protest, three special police vehicles were parked in the courtyard of the police station.
Residents of Graanica have already gathered to protest the arrest of Dragia Milenkovi yesterday.
The so-called Kosovo police previously announced that the main road in Gracanica will be blocked while the Serb protest continues.

At the beginning of his address, he said that he would still go to Brussels, immediately after the special envoy, Josep Borrell, announced that he and the Prime Minister of the so-called Kosovo, Albin Kurti, are summoned to an urgent meeting.
War Crimes Arrest Sparks Protest by Kosovo Serbs
Kosovo Police said on Wednesday that they have arrested a Kosovo Serb male, identified only by the initials D.S., in the Serb-majority municipality of Gracanica, on suspicion of committing war crimes during the Kosovo war in 1998-99.

President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, said that the elections were the result of escalation in the north, which resulted in the deterioration of relations with the international community.
