Belgrade's new Danube bridge officially opened

BELGRADE -- Prime ministers of Serbia and China Aleksandar Vucic and Li Keqiang on Thursday officially opened the new bridge over the Danube River in Belgrade.

A large number of citizens, public figures and officials attended the ceremony.

BELGRADE - Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, who will continue an official visit to Serbia on Thursday, is scheduled to meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and open the bridge between Zemun and Borca with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

BELGRADE - Serbia and China agree on all crucial political issues, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday, noting that both countries are pursuing independent policies of peace without endangering anyone's territorial integrity.

The agreements signed on Tuesday form part of deal to modernize the Belgrade-Budapest railway line, and the high-speed connection will likely be built through concessions or public-private partnerships, it was announced.

Serbia and Albania recognize driving licenses

BELGRADE -- An agreement was signed on Wednesday on the mutual recognition of driving licenses between Serbia and Albania.

Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and Albanian Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Edmond Haxhinasto signed the document.
