EC announces donor conference for Serbia, BiH
BRUSSELS - A donor conference under the motto “Rebuilding Together” will be held in Brussels on July 16 in order to mobilize further support for Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) after the severe floods that hit the countries in May, the European Commission, which will host the event, announced on Friday.

Bratusek: Around 400 participants in donor conference
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek said on Wednesday after a meeting with Ambassadors of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) and France that the donor conference is expected to bring together around 400 participants in Brussels on July 16.

Croatia’s Agrokor Takes Over Slovenian Rival
Agrokor is to buy a 53.1 percent stake in the Slovenian food retailer Mercator for a price of 86 euro per share, media reported on Thursday.
From the money paid by Agrokor, shareholders will receive 325 million euro, Mercator subcontract suppliers 20 million euro, while the rest will go directly to the Slovenian company, which to finance its bank loans.

Dacic, Bratusek discuss donor conference
BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred with Slovenian Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek in Belgrade on Wednesday concerning the donor conference to raise aid for repair of consequences of recent floods in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Donor conference on July 16 or 17
BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday the most realistic option was to hold the donor conference regarding the recent floods in Serbia and the region on July 16 or 17.
"The exact date of the donor conference is not known yet, but, as things stand today, the most realistic outcome is to hold it on July 16 or 17," he noted.

President Nikolic thanked Slovenia once again for timely assistance that it sent to Serbia during the catastrophic floods last month.
Serbia, Slovenia cooperation in protection against disasters
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and his Slovenian counterpart Alenka Bratusek have signed a letter of intent between the two governments on cooperation in the protection against natural and other disasters.
After the signing of the document in Belgrade on Tuesday, Vucic said that it provided a legal basis for disaster management activities.
