Fourteen people were injured during last night’s clashes between police and seasonal firefighters, both inside and outside the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection building, following an occupation by some of the seasonal firefighters. According to the police, 12 of the injured were police officers.

Environmental ministry issues decision on energy self-consumption
Environment and Energy Minister Thodoros Skylakakis and Deputy Environment and Energy Minister Alexandra Sdoukou signed on Friday a ministerial decision promoting self-consumption of energy, either individually by all citizens and businesses of the country or jointly (by apartment buildings).
Electricity Tariffs: at 1.6 cents per kilowatt-hour the exceptional support in August
At 1.6 cents per kilowatt hour, the extraordinary support on electricity bills for August consumption is set at 1.6 cents per kilowatt hour, the Ministry of Environment and Energy announced.
Thus, the final price for the majority of consumers (which depends on the tariff of each provider) is formed below 15 cents per kilowatt hour.
Energean Oil has agreement approved
The Standing Committee on Production and Trade of the Hellenic Parliament has voted in favor of ratifying the seventh amendment to the Convention on Hydrocarbon Exploitation in the Maritime Area of the Thracian Sea between the Greek State and Energean Oil.
