The young Bulgarian actress Margarita Stoykova was honored with an award for emerging star at the Berlinale Film Festival. She is known for her leading role in Yana Titova's film "Diada", and is among the 10 top Young European actors. The excellence is by the program"Shooting Stars", by the European Film Promotion (EFP).

Leonardo DiCaprio lauded Martin Scorsese's filmmaking "ferocity" on May 21 as they basked in rave reviews at Cannes for their Native American crime epic "Killers of the Flower Moon," while the festival also bowed down before Jude Law as King Henry VIII.

50/50 Equality in Cinema | Athens | April 7-9
Documentaries and films by women - but not only for women - will be screened at the Greek Film Archive this weekend. On Friday, April 7, starting at 7 p.m., the curtain-raiser will be the Swedish film "Pure," by Lisa Langseth, about a young woman (portrayed Alicia Vikander) who is fascinated by classical music. The film's producer, Helen Ahlsson, will lead a post-film discussion.
