Swiatek racks up 31st straight win
World number one Iga Swiatek was the only top 10 women's seed left standing at the French Open on May 28.
Swiatek, the 2020 champion, dropped serve three times against 95th-ranked Danka Kovinic of Montenegro before sealing a 6-3, 7-5 third round victory, her 31st successive win.

Swiatek powers Poland to BJK Cup finals, Czechs top Britain
New No. 1 Iga Swiatek powered Poland into the Billie Jean King Cup Finals for the first time and they were joined by other newcomers Italy and Kazakhstan.
Other winners included old hands the Czech Republic, six-time winners since 2011, Spain, Canada and the United States.
The United States and Ukraine were 2-2 and playing a decisive doubles in their qualifier in Asheville.

Greek tennis champion Maria Sakkari is continuing her incredible run in the Chinese Wuhan Open, as she disposed of French Alize Cornet (2-0, 7-6, 7-5) in the quarter finals. Sakkari had defeated top ten ranked Caroline Wozniacki yesterday and will meet French Caroline Garcia in the semi finals tomorrow on centre court.

Greek tennis champion Maria Sakkari has made it to the third round of the Australian Open after upsetting France's Alize Cornet on Thursday.
Unseeded Sakkari needed two hours and 40 minutes to defeat the board's number 28 player 2-1 set (7-5, 4-6, 6-1) in a tough contest at Court 7 in Melbourne.

Jankovic beats Krunic to advance to Hong Kong quarters
HONG KONG - Serbia's highest-ranked female tennis player Jelena Jankovic beat compatriot Aleksandra Krunic 6-4, 6-3 on Wednesday to advance to the quarter-finals of the Hong Kong WTA tournament.
Jankovic won their first-ever encounter after an hour and a half of play.

Jankovic defeated in Beijing opener, Ivanovic moves on
BEIJING - Serbia's tennis player Jelena Jankovic did not make it to the second round of the WTA tournament in Beijing as she was bested by Alize Cornet of France 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 on Monday.
This was the first win of the French player in their head-to-heads (1-3).
Earlier on Monday, Serbia's Ana Ivanovic breezed past Belinda Bencic of Switzerland 6-2, 6-1 in only 72 minutes.
