According to the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CEMI), which published its preliminary results of the run-off presidential election in Montenegro, the candidate of the "Europe Now!" movement, Jakov Milatovic, won 60 percent of the vote based on 98 percent of the votes processed so far.

Amir, an 11-year-old refugee boy from Afghanistan, will carry the Greek flag during the annual school parade to commemorate the October 28, 1940 anniversary of Greece's refusal to ally with the Axis powers in World War II, known as "Ochi Day." Amir, a fifth-year primary school pupil, lives with his family in Athens. They arrived on the island of Lesvos a year and a half ago.

Life in Greece has become so difficult for Amir and Walaa, teachers from Syria, that they sometimes think about returning to the home they risked everything to flee.

"I know in Syria we have war and bombs every day," says Amir, visibly exhausted. But there, "every Syrian dies once. Here we die every day. Every day is bad."
