Brnabic meets with ODIHR's Zannier

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met with the head of the ODIHR election observation mission, Lamberto Zannier, on Friday to discuss dialogue between political groups in the Serbian parliament, which she noted had resulted in a broader social consensus on implementation of ODIHR recommendations for improvement of electoral conditions.

Brnabic: Serbia fighting for its own interests, world and international law

BELGRADE - Commenting on a Srebrenica resolution adopted in the UN General Assembly on Thursday, Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said Serbia had demonstrated how it was fighting for its own interests, for the world and for international law.

BELGRADE - Commenting on Thursday's UN General Assembly session on a Srebrenica resolution, Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said she had never been as concerned about peace in the Balkans as she was at this time.

Speaking to Pink TV, Brnabic said she had also never been more concerned about what life in Bosnia and Herzegovina would look like after the vote on the resolution.

Brnabic: Srebrenica resolution would rewrite history of 20th century

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Wednesday passing a UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica would rewrite the history of the 20th century and create a new world order based on lies and disrespect.

In an appearance on Happy TV, Brnabic also said the draft resolution violated the Dayton Agreement and the constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Brnabic meets with China's Yin

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic met on Monday in Belgrade with Yin Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party's Central Committee and Secretary of the CCP's Beijing Municipal Committee.

Brnabic said visits by high-ranking Chinese officials to Serbia were very important for deepening further the cooperation between the two countries.

Brnabic meets with Varhelyi

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic received EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi on Wednesday to discuss topics including reforms and alignment of national regulations with European laws.

Brnabic said that, in her new post, she would continue to advocate strengthening institutions and democratic principles in Serbia, an official statement said.

Brnabic: Cooperation with China does not mean we are closing our door to others

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said on Monday cooperation with China did not mean Serbia was closing its door to other countries and the EU but that it was a sovereign country making its own choices when it comes to its cooperation partners.
