In a widely expected outcome, Croatia's ruling conservative party, the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), emerged victorious in the parliamentary elections. Croatia and Slovenia to cooperate closer on energy, migration

Slovenia and Croatia agreed to sign a solidarity agreement on gas supply and enhance cooperation in response to a surge in illegal migration as the countries' prime ministers met in Slovenia on 28 March. The Croatian Government will Introduce a Fixed Price for Basic Food Products

At its meeting on Thursday, the Croatian government will take a decision to set a fixed price for eight basic products, said Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

The price of sunflower oil will be lower - 1.72 euros per liter (now it is 1.86 euros), there will be a price limit for milk, flour, sugar, whole chicken and minced pork.

Ljubljana, 18 October – A digital remastered copy of the first Slovenian silent feature-length film V Kraljestvu Zlatoroga (In the Realm of the Goldhorn) will premiere in Ljubljana’s Cankarjev Dom arts centre this evening. A quartet led by pianist Andrej Goričar, who wrote a new score for the film in 2005, will accompany the screening.
