The government on Tuesday passed an emergency ordinance regarding access of patients to medical services regardless of the providers' ownership, whether public or private, according to head of the Prime Minister's Chancellery Ionel Danca.

The Government adopted the Emergency Ordinance (OUG) regarding the organisation of early parliamentary elections, a normative act which stipulates, among others, three days of voting in the Diaspora and the possibility to vote at any polling station. The government approved on Tuesday the establishment of emergency medical supplies for epidemics and measures regarding the establishment of quarantine under an emergency ordinance that also provides for the purchase of thermal scanners to equip Romania's 16 airports. Interim leader of the PSD (Social Democratic Party) Marcel Ciolacu on Monday evening said his party has no problem with any elections and that, regardless if the motion of censure against the Government passes or not, mayors will still be elected in one round of elections.
