Imago Sloveniae and Summer in Old Ljubljana festivals open

Under the title Slavic Rhapsody, the concert will present Slavic folk music and its echoes in music by featuring segments of operas, symphonic and choir music by composers such as Antonin Dvorak, Bedrich Smetana, Marjan Kozina, Stevan Mokranjac, Jakov Gotovac and Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin.

State broadcaster ERT's Musical Ensembles and Choir celebrate their 40th anniversary with a concert of works by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Heinrich Schutz, Johann Sebastian Bach, Orlando di Lasso, Pierre Passereau, Antonin Dvorak, Robert Schumann, Richard Genee as well as Greek composers, at the Athens Concert Hall on Monday, December 4.

Istanbul Symphony Orchestra to perform in South America

The Istanbul Symphony Orchestra (IDSO) is set to go on a tour in South America. 

Under the baton of chief conductor Milan Turkovic, violinists Vadim Repin and Rebecca Hartmann will accompany the orchestra. 

With the organization of Dr. Martin Ochs from Konzert-und Tourneemanagement, the concerts will take place between June 18 and 30. 

City of Athens Symphonic | Athens | November 13

The City of Athens Symphony Orchestra and violinist Nikos Beis perform works by Gustav Holst, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonin Dvorak at the Technopolis cultural complex in Athens on Sunday, November 13. The ensemble is led by Eleftherios Kalkanis. Admission to the concert is free of charge. Starts at 8.30 p.m.
